Comments: A Celtic slave, who's the last of his tribe, and a frustrated princess meet on the road. A horse is put out of his misery after a road crash. This small event seems to cement their future. In Pompeii they are re-united, albeit on less equal terms.

This could have been so much more. It screamed the movie "Titanic" to me, despite never watching that film. (I have heard the stories.) What a waste of what could have been a good historical story. The thing that saves this film from being below average is the decent acting of Emily Browning. Without her, this would have been a dismal failure, instead of just a failure.
