Comments: The show opens with the central character being questioned by the police about the disappearance of his wife. Then, he receives instructions to drive to Florida, if he wants to get her back. In Florida, he learns that he must enter an illegal race run by a mysterious organization. His competitors are a mixture of people who entered for personal reasons and those seeking the $32 million prize. The checkpoints for the race are riddles.

This sounds like a pretty dull idea. It really isn't because the audience learns more and more about the characters as the show progresses. The characters are developed amidst some very good car chases. Also, the soundtrack is very good. The program is filmed in southern California (chiefly Santa Clarita) but is set in the Eastern half of the U.S. Unfortunately, the show was canceled halfway through the first season. What a shame. Recommended.
