Comments: A disheveled man appears in a lonely coastal Oregon diner. The lone waitress & owner, starved for company, tries to get to know the man. However, when a car with California plates containing three men who claim to be surfers shows up, the lone man hides and asks not to be given away. The waitress is understandably confused. What's going on?

This is a fun and suspenseful thriller. It kept me guessing for quite a while. The scenery looked almost like Oregon except it was too dry. It turns out that it was filmed on the North Island of New Zealand. The movie is cut strangely. For instance, about twenty minutes into the film I thought I had lost a few scenes. This added to my confusion that took a bit to sort out. Also, there's a scene after the credits. Good film.
