Comments: A man's wife is wrongly accused, and convicted, of murder. This is achieved by his wife being, unfortunately, in the wrong place at the wrong time, and having a relationship with the deceased. After three years of legal battles, the court says she'll have to serve the full twenty-year prison term. The man then sees his distraught wife start to come apart. So he plans her rescue.

This is a powerful film. The lead actor is driven by an unquenchable love and plans to break his wife out of a high-security prison. I'm impressed. This film was remade. Highly recommended.
