Comments: An introverted teenager is dragged to a beach house. He strongly dislikes his mother's new boyfriend, and wishes he could be spending summer vacation with his father. Disgusted by the drinking and recreational drug use, he explores the area, finally finding a water park. The owner takes him under his wing and gives him a job. This acceptance helps him open up and say what he means.

This is a very good coming-of-age film. The water park owner says some things that are hilarious. The message is good, if re-used. Set in and filmed in Massachusetts. Recommended.
