Infractions: None. Comments: The wife and daughter of a New York architect are assaulted. Three drug addicts, masquerading as grocery delivery boys, gain entrance to their apartment, killing the wife and putting the daughter into a coma. When the police come up empty, the architect decides to takes matters into his own hands. The crime-ridden city celebrates the vigiliante and crime rates drop. This movie is based on a Brian Garfield story. This man is also responsible for inspiring Hopscotch. Though the style of "Death Wish" is similar to Bullitt except without the '60s visuals & music. The movie also sends a good message. Highly recommended. |
