Comments: A man finds a body on the beach. As he runs to get help, a couple of girls also come across the body. Then, he's falsely accused, arrested, and put on trial. He escapes the courthouse. The daughter of the chief constable helps him evade the police, and falls in love with him. Later, she's implicated in his escape and must help him find the true murderer.

This is a fun early Hitchcock crime drama. There are many witty comments.
