Comments: On Thanksgiving Day, two young girls go missing in a Pennsylvania suburb. One of which is the daughter of a "prepper" (i.e. an individual who plans for a catastrophe). Obviously, he didn't, and couldn't, prepare for a holiday kidnapping. A dedicated, if brutal, police detective is assigned to the case. When the detective releases the prime suspect, the "prepper" father takes matters into his own hands. Is he right in doing so?

This film starts out slowly, and could have stood more editing. Two and a half hours is too long for this type of movie. Also, I disliked how the police detective never had a warrant to enter houses and search. Furthermore, if the main character weren't a "prepper", I wouldn't have noticed that one character is named Alex Jones. Aside from these problems, this thriller kept me guessing. It is fairly fresh.
