Comments: When an oil well hits a gas pocket and bursts into flames, a plan is hatched to blow up the shaft, thus extinguishing the fire. To do this, they need lots of nitroglycerine. The snag is that the nitro is 300 miles away, and the road between is rough and dangerous. Four out-of-work men are promised $2,000 a piece if they can transport the goods.

This is the film that inspired Sorcerer. This film makes more sense. Good classic!
