Comments: In this Austrian-German co-production a woman sets off to a remote hunting cabin in the mountains of Austria with an elderly couple. Upon arrival the couple head back to the local village for something. They never return. At first the single woman thinks it's caused by an unexpected event. When she finds an invisible barrier shielding her from the outside world, she understands her predicament.

This film started out so slowly that I resurrected the infamous fifteen-minute-rule. Fortunately, this film picked up in leaps and bounds and kept me very interested. This isn't a film that will glue you to the screen. In fact, I think it would go very well while rebuilding a carburetor or cleaning a gun. The triumph of this film is the beautiful shooting of the spectacular Austrian mountains and the excellent acting of the only true role. That's why I say this film is awesome but still allows one to maintain or mend a small machine.

I'm going to do something that I abhor: this film is very much a woman's version of Robinson Crusoe. So visualize the stuff that Daniel Defoe's character had to do, only try to see it as a modern woman would see it. Furthermore, she's in a short-seasoned mountainous region. Highly recommended.
