Comments: A remote arctic outpost reports a magnetic disturbance and requests help. An Air Force crew and plane are dispatched from Anchorage to aid scientists in the investigation. They find a UFO and recover a body of an alien frozen in ice. At odds, a scientist and Air Force captain each try to get his own way.

This is the original film. Unlike the remakes, this film is not gross and gory. The style is similar to The Blob. The story moves along well without pausing to show gore. It's also more science fiction than horror. Recommended.

It was produced by Winchester Pictures Corporation. From what I can find out this is the director's company. The company logo showcases the famous Winchester Repeating Rifle. This is one of only two films produced by this company.
