Comments: A father and son are stranded, alone, on a foreign planet (a future Earth). The son must retrieve a beacon in the distant tail section of the destroyed spaceship to save his critically injured father. Will he make it or will he be eaten by something?

This story is written by Will Smith, who also stars, and is an age-old story with a sprinkling of modern do-gooder attitude. It's not a bad film. Just not great. The scenery is really what is worth watching in this movie.
