Comments: After a close friend leaves with a friend he admires, a budding writer sets out for Denver. He can only afford the trip so far. It is, after all, 1948. He hitchhikes the rest of the way, which is eye opening for him. Once in Denver, all hell breaks loose and he's once again on the road. The young writer find his best work while on the road.

This film, being somewhat independent, tends to promote what we all desire in life. Objectively, I may say that the characters are well-defined and honest. The plot moves along as one would expect. Kirsten Dunst looks good and Kristen Stewart makes up for being in those vampire films by showing some skin. This movie is based on a Jack Kerouac book.
