Comments: For some reason a man receives a letter about a lake house from a woman two years in his future. He thinks it's a hoax and writes her. Their correspondence vehicle is a mailbox outside of the lake house, which they both will own/rent.

It's really a clever idea. The two can converse, in real time, across a span of two years. There's an old Mustang and C-10 pick-up in the movie, which seemed to have been built about two years apart.
