Comments: A Virginian who fought in the Confederate cavalry is transported to Mars while hiding from Apaches in a cave in Arizona. Disenchanted with war, he is reluctant to help Martians fighting a tyrant with a powerful weapon. After witnessing the boldness of a princess, he reluctantly joins.

This is an excellent film. It's based on Edgar Rice Burroughs' stories. This could be one of the best films this year.
