Comments: A South African arrives in New Zealand after his side loses the Boer War. His first assignment is to track and recover, dead or alive, a Maori man accused of killing a British soldier. The job turns out to be more than he expects.

This is a great film. It shows the splendor of New Zealand even better than my photos. The development of the two main characters and their shared contention with Britain is interesting. The plot and characters are good but it's the setting that makes this movie a great.
