Comments: Two heroes of the Crusades go AWOL after they unintentionally slaughter women and children. As they are traveling back to Europe, they encounter the Black Plague. They are discovered and imprisoned for desertion. A cardinal offers to forgive their crime if they escort a suspected witch to a monastery.

I thought this was pretty good. Like many supernatural films it has religious overtones. It's really a good story.
