Comments: I rented this film just to see Amanda Seyfried. (Ah, what a beauty!) I know I'm not alone with this reasoning. The film isn't bad. It's a bit of a mystery developed from the Little Red Riding Hood fairy tale. I did really enjoy the far-north setting: snow, trees, foggy mountains, hidden streams, log cabins, etc. (This setting has always sparked an interest in me.) The film expands upon the fairy tale: it is quite comical about some aspects and deadly serious about others. I watched the film during one sitting so I can hardly say it's bad. It reminded me in many respects of Le Pacte des Loups.
