Comments: A timid teen is pushed by his mother (a hypocritical Christian) to get a job to pay for the upkeep of a new lodger, who's "recovering" from killing his wife. He chooses a retired actress who needs an assistant. She turns out ot be very different than his mother and the boy realizes that he can live a freer life.

In regards to the title, the boy gets most of his learning experience driving from London to Scotland beside a woman who doesn't have a license. This movie is good despite some clichéd music. The scenery in Scotland is amazing.
