Comments: In the near future vampires have taken control of all aspects of society. Humans are hunted down to be farmed like cattle. A vampire hematologist is employed by a corporation to find a blood substitute as the human blood supply wanes. This scientist doesn't drink real blood, seeing it as wrong. Everything changes when he accidentally hits a car carrying rogue humans.

I enjoyed this film. Yes, it is over-the-top for the infractions listed above; however the character development is excellent. There are parallels that can be drawn between this movie and today's oil business and politics. It shows what would happen if a shortage were to occur. Though this film can also be casually enjoyed without interpreting anything from it.
