Comments: A man--who backs out of becoming a priest because of intense images during the ordination--becomes wrapped up in a war between angels. The archangel Gabriel is seeking to possess the soul of the blackest human so he may wield it in the war, thus proving his value to God. Lucifer makes an argument to persuade the humans to give the dark soul to him.

This isn't a religious film. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if churches banned this movie. They wouldn't ban it because it portrays evils or the churches in bad light. It's simply one of those very hard films that ends beautifully.
