Comments: Robin Longstride falls into an unusual situation after deserting the English army in France. He comes upon a knight who has been mortally wounded by a double agent. The knight, Robert of Loxley, asks Robin to return his sword to his father. The father asks him to become Robert to boost moral in the village.

This movie is supposed to show how Robin Hood got his start. It could be reasonable but seems too far out for me. The movie is also too drawn out, like they're trying to make it something it is not. The humor is juvenile at times. I did, however, enjoy the use of proper English longbows.
