I really liked this film. A man standing alone and for what he believes in is wonderful. If I can draw parallels, this is the prison version of Bullitt. Luke doesn't stand for anything so he can stand against everything. "What we have here is a failure to communicate." You think so? This film related quite well to me. Like Bullitt, Cool Hand Luke is an example of fortitude, strength, and independence.
