Comments: A guy with muscular dystrophy moves into a "special home for special people" and is immediately known as the troublestarter. He listens to heavy metal and is belligerant, which is too much for many in this care center near Dublin. He befriends a guy with cerebral palsy with whom he escapes the Center and moves out on his own, into the real world.

I really enjoyed this film. I recognized spots in Dublin. The characters are deep and the plot funny and exciting. I know it sounds strange to say that a movie about a couple of cripples who are "out on the town" is so good, but it is! "You'll laugh, you'll cry: it'll change your life," as Bernard Black said in Black Books. Oh, and Romola Garai looks stunning.
