Comments: A kid whose family belongs to the super religious group (The Brethren) cannot watch TV and movies. He's blackmailed by the class bully into being the stunt man for the bully's action film. The homemade movie brings the two together until a suave French exchange student comes on the scene.

This movie is funny and cute (without being cutsy). The characters are deep and entertaining. The French boy is stereotypically French, which is predictably funny. I really enjoyed this family film.
