Comments: I was reluctant to see this movie. I know neither much about Speed Racer nor do I care much for '60s Japanese animation. However, I was very happy with this film!

This movie explains Speed Racer's background and his development into the premier racer. He must face down corporations that use racing as way to leverage buy-outs of small companies, and thus, promote grassroots racing.

This is film is marvelous. I feared that the Wackowski brothers had lost their nerve before watching this flick, and thus was relucant to see their latest work. While subtly entertaining, this film delivers an important lesson that we must never give up our dreams and love just money. This movie is absolutely wonderful! The Wachowski brothers continue to attack the establishment, just by a different avenue. Excellent!
