Comments: To begin with, I normally do not watch this type of film. I rented it for the same reason that I watched Domino, to see Keira Knightley's latest movie.

Like Jane Eyre, which both guys and girls were so unceremoniously forced to read in my tenth grade English class, Pride and Prejudice centers around a strong female figure. Unlike Charlotte Brontë's story, this movie describes love and misconception. Furthermore, don't mistakenly believe this story is the third of a triumvirate, of sorts, along with Tolstoy's War and Peace and Dostoyevsky's Crime and Punishment. This story is simpler and less politically charged.
