Comments: It's surprising that the blood isn't too graphic--considering the subject--when people are killed. No, I think the slaying of chickens at the beginning of the film is too much.

This movie descibes life in the slums of Rio de Janeiro where brutality, guns, and drugs rule. I wouldn't recommend this film to anyone who doesn't like gritty movies. I wouldn't have watched it myself but a friend suggested it, so I had to give it a try.
