Comments: This is a film about a loser living in Idaho. I think it will be a cult hit because it appeals to the underdog in all of us. Face it: we've all been there before, and anyone who says he hasn't, is a liar! What makes this unique and able to stand out above other similar films is the use of individual characters who are all unique and memorable. An uncle who is living in 1982, a geeky brother who spends hours in chat rooms, and the girl "next door" who's a glamor photographer are all examples. Also, this movie references things from my childhood, which will fuel its cult following among my generation: an A-Team themed sequence & a Trapper-Keeper (I haven't seen one of those in at least ten years!). A fun movie for anyone who grew up during the late '80s and early '90s.

P.S. Stick around through the credits as there's a scene afterwards. Also, ever imagine what it's like being nearsighted? Well, the opening credits do a good job of emulating the slow focusing accompanied with poor vision.
