Comments: I've only seen the first episode--the pilot--of this four-episode program. Each episode is split into 1-1/2 hour parts. I won't be watching the other three episodes because, like many PBS shows, this program is too long and overdramatized. I did enjoyed the pilot episode, though.

Clive Owen's character is an unforgiving police detective who is losing his sight to a rare eye disase. His assistant (Claire Skinner's character) discovers his crippling deficiency and makes a deal with him to solve the case and not report him.
