Comments: Typical of 1980s British TV sitcoms: graphic and drawing heavily on gross humor. Occasionally there is a funny joke, and I didn't fall asleep for the first six episodes. I just couldn't watch the last two episodes of this one-season TV program. The desperation and food jokes got to me. Even if you love British comedy, I do not recommend this program. I did appreciate the random sidetracks but it could not overcome the disgusting antics.
