Comments: Lestat, the vampire, has become jaded by his eternal life. He sees that young people are attracted to heavy metal bands. He wants part of that action, so he founds a band of his own. When his popularity skyrockets, will the young people be turned, in more than one way?

This film is loosely based on an Anne Rice novel. It's probably not as true as a previous adaptation. The film is noted as being the final film starring singer Aaliyah. It was released after her death from a light-aircraft crash. The best part of this film is the excellent soundtrack.
