Duration: 2 hr, 20 min

Comments: This film loosely follows Philip K. Dick's short story of the same name. The idea is that the police have at their disposal a special process called pre-crime. Three psychics can see into the future. The majority report is used to arrest future criminals. Obviously, what happens if the crime never occurs?

The negative view of the future is unlike that protrayed by Philip Dick in his story. This film is too long, too little sci-fi, and too much waste. Spielberg has lost his knack.
