Comments: In late 1962 Americans learn that the Soviets have placed nuclear missiles in Cuba. President Kennedy speaks on the TV to alert the American people. One highly-intelligent man takes the threat of nuclear war very, very seriously. So much so that he has built a fallout shelter in his quiet San-Fernando Valley backyard. When an abandoned fighter jet crashes into their house, while they are in the shelter; he seals the doors for thirty years.

This film is a romantic comedy despite serious subject matter. It's really a hoot, and also quite cute. Recommended.
